RufUs actively supports survivors of domestic violence and those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. RufUs assists to outfit homes for people transitioning into housing who are either survivors of domestic violence, who were previously homeless or at risk of homelessness. They work with a number of service providers and organisations in the sector across Adelaide who find houses for their clients. RufUs fully fits out and furnishes homes/units and provides other essential items to turn those houses into homes.
In 2016 RufUs outfitted over 500 homes. Around half of the people whose homes we outfitted were women and children escaping domestic and/or family violence.
